vote for all the guys on the Profile team for the Ride To Glory comp…you know it makes sense
I’ve got a bunch of artwork in a group show at the Vaad Gallery (the Custard Factory) in Birmingham from the 11th September. The theme is Wonderland and I used my own little wonderland, the trails for the inspiration behind my submission. I did over 20 original drawings and paintings of stuff from down the jumps, just for fun. Hope you like em. They’re for sale and there’s also some giclee prints avaiable too. Get to the show or email for more details. savage
Craig and Martyn are away on the Ride Road to Glory Trip (as part of the Profile team) at the moment, bad news is that Craig dislocated his shoulder and cant ride no more. Rubbish. There’s some funny photos and a blog about the trip so far here…
Craig stepped up to one of the challenges of the trip and got himself this tattoo, savage
This is all over the net right now but if you know anything about BMX it should make you laugh, so funny. Van Homan will save us!
Hey the new Ride just landed, stoked with the new advert for us and Crucial. The photo is by Scott (from Crucial) and the drawing is by me. Hope the shoulder is healing up well Levi. Well done on the inside cover and the Vans Article.
Also, huge congratulations to Toby Forte and Jess for completing their cycle to Morocco. We went out for diner the other day and caught up with Toby’s tails from the trip. Sounds amazing….and hard work! for more details and donation see the previous posts.
Get well soon Levi! Broken Collar bones suck. Stand by for the latest Crucial BMX / TWOAND8 collaboration advert featuring Levi in the next ride (due any day). In the meantime check out this ace video from Levi’s trip on the Vans UK roadtrip to france. Beaut.
I’ve been a bit lazy on the blog lately. I forgot to put up the latest TWOAND8 / Crucial BMX advert. Here she is! Summer time trails init!! The photo is of Bristol local Louis Harrison (taken by Scott from Crucial).
Man, I saw Dinosaur Jr play at the NEC on the Rollercoaster tour with My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Blur (weird) during the last recession back in 1992 . I guess that makes me pretty old eh! It was one of the best shows I’ve ever been to and the opening riff from My Bloody Valentine still rings in my ears. Well Dinosaur Jr have a new track out and I think you’ll find the video pretty interesting, and for someone my age even more so. Its pretty dope. Here’s also a little taste of that Rollercoaster line up from back in the day….
Its funny how thing move in circles. I reckon everyone down the trails is pretty much dressed how me and my buddies were at that gig all those years ago. I wish I’d kept the shirts.
There’s more info about that video on the WeThePeople site. Good to see some real BMX involvement rather than just media glory types.
I found this pretty cool article on Falcon Cycles site about some early bicycle stuntsmanship. I know us BMXers love this shit. Check out the bikes on their site too. I want one bad
Best of luck to Toby and Jess who start their long journey to Morrocco tomorrow! Fare well my friends! x
There’s a skate / BMX jam happening down in Weston-s-Mare on Saturday 6th June (09). Get yourself down there for some wheely good fun, hah. There should be some trails running for those of you who like mud. For more info
